Guided Walk of the Proposed Pudsey Greenside Greenway

Saturday 9th July
11.00am start at Mount Pleasant Road

Greenside Greenway members invite you to a free guided walk of phases 1/2 of the proposed route and opportunity to ask questions.

Starting from outside St Joseph’s School on Mount Pleasant Road at 11.00am, or joining us further on the route at approximately 11.30am on Carlisle Road bridge near The Royal public house. The return walk to Pudsey can be the same way or via the bridleway at Black Hey Farm to Fulneck Beck and back to Smalewell Road (walk to finish approx.
12.30 pm).

If you are interested in walking the route at another time, self-guided details of the route are in our post dated 27/10/21.

This is a guide of the central areas of the Greenway through Pudsey (phases 1/2). This is from Mount Pleasant Road to Tyersal Rail Embankment. The route covers five segments of railway line, footpaths/bridleways and residential streets and is approx. 2 miles in length.

The full route plans are to eventually include a link (phase 3) to Stanningley Road to Cycle Superhighway CS1, and at the Bradford end to Spen Valley Greenway (phase 4) via Tyersal Lane.

We hope to see you on Saturday 9 July!

Please note, it is advisable to wear appropriate footwear/clothing.
