There was a good turnout for the official unveiling of our new Heritage Information Boards on Saturday 6th April, performed by West Yorkshire Mayor Tracy Brabin, a champion of low energy travel. Councillor Trish Smith was also in attendance, without whose support the boards wouldn’t be here now.
The two boards show maps, a history of the railway in Pudsey and have pictures of the old railway stations – the first board is located close to the Greenside Railway Station on Carlisle Road, the second is on Lowtown at the old entrance to Lowtown Station.
